Jakarta Indonesia may be crowded and tourists may sometime feel daunted, but Jakarta has huge malls and buildings which are convenient. The Thamrin City hotel close to Grand Indonesia mall is affordable, the Magnum chocolate store is socculent. And one last thing, arguably in South East Asia, Jakarta is capable of hosting Java Jazz International Concert, Rock Concerts and K-pop. I don't think it would be possible for international jazz artists to perform a huge concert in Indonesia and the stage setup and sound equipment are just sounding as what avid concert fans should be enjoying. I still cannot forget that 6-hour SMTown concert and Steve Vai (which sadly was cut short because I need to return to my country, as the next flight is scheduled next week, bummer)

Steve Vai

I bumped to an old friend (Kyle with his wife) who treated me in MyMagnum, the treats were magnum bars (almond, vanilla, cappucino) there's kiwi & strawberry coated inside the belgian waffle). Aftewards we watched Sadako III on the 3D screen. (My first time to watch in a 3D, since I rarely watch movies anyway)

Friends were puzzled on my attendance in Jakarta's SMTown concert. As fellow rockers, well rock will always have a special meaning in my life. But as a versatile musician I do enjoy great entertainment, choreography, lights and of course the fan chants for six freaking hours were superb \m/.
